Description Tomas Hoger 2026-11-05 11:24:36 UTC
Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.

Python has added a denylist for known compromised certificates to the "ssl" module to ensure user safety even without certificate revocation configured. Known compromised certificates will automatically be rejected regardless of the SSLContext policy configuration.

This version is EOL usptream and we will not be actively backporting the fix. Fedora's venv/ensurepip uses a pip that does not bundle the eMudhra certificate.
