A flaw was found in eventyay-exhibition. An authorization bypass vulnerability in the lead creation Application Programming Interface (API) allows authenticated exhibitors with lead scanning permissions to access attendee records from other event organizers. By submitting another event's identifier or order secret in an API request, an exhibitor can retrieve sensitive attendee information, including names, email addresses, and submitted answers.

Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-11-05 22:09:56 UTC
fossasia eventyay-exhibition through commit f68888e contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the exhibitor lead creation API that allows exhibitors to access other organizers' attendee data. Exhibitors with lead scanning enabled can submit another event's pseudonymization id or order secret while naming that organizer in the URL to retrieve attendee names, emails, addresses and answers.
