System has a CD-ROM (master, /dev/hdc) and CD-RW (slave, /dev/hdd)

Attempts to mount a cd using using the CD-RW cause the system to lock-up.

The drive is a CenDyne CDICD00047 which I believe is a repackaged Ricoh RW7063A

Procedure to generate failure:

1) boot to run level 2

2) Login as root

3) from command line execute: mount /mnt/cdrom

This generates the following syslog entries

4) Unmount and eject cdrom

5) from command line execute: mount /mnt/cdrom1

 At this point the CD spins up and the system locks-up


Misc info:
 1) The current hardware configuration works fine under RH 7.0.

 2) "eject /dev/hdd" will eject the tray WITHOUT locking up the system.
(Provided this is done before attempting to mount it)

 3) The system WILL boot correctly from a RH 7.0 CD in /dev/hdd

 4) The system will ATTEMPT to boot the RH fisher CD in /dev/hdd.  However
it locks up shortly after displaying the line "running /sbin/loader"
followed by a blue screen.

We (Red Hat) should really try to resolve this before next release.

Did a clean install of release 7.0.91, Wolverine. The problems appears to have
been resolved in this release.
