Description Terje Røsten 2007-08-29 17:31:28 UTC
Description of problem:

Scanner is Epson Perfection 2480 Photo (USB).

Worked great with sane-backends-1.0.18-5.fc6 and sane-backends-libs-1.0.18-5.fc6.

After upgrade to sane-backends-1.0.18-15.fc6 and
sane-backends-libs-1.0.18-15.fc6 xsane gives an error: can't find any scanner
device.

Must be some bad bits in the upgrade...

What does "lsusb" give?

Comment 2 Terje Røsten 2007-08-30 17:38:02 UTC
After a reboot, xsane works with sane-backends-1.0.18-15.fc6, case closed.
