I'm fairly certain this has already been reported, and is actually a regression
because of pango(?) reporting different things than it used to.

Note that DejaVu used to work around Firefox limitations by declaring separate
font families (DejaVu, DejaVu Condensed...) instead of a single family with many
styles (DejaVu), which is the preferred way for modern fonts.

Since regardless of the DejaVu choice there are already many popular fonts in
the wild that do more than bold, italic and bold-italic DejaVu upstream decided
to stop contraining itself and have apps (like firefox) fix their font assumptions.

We just updated the Firefox version in Fedora/development from 2.0 to a 3.0
pre-release version, which improves performance, memory usage, and fixes many
bugs and crashes.

Closing as CANTFIX since we aren't fixing bugs filed against 2.0 now that 3.0 is
in.  If this bug is still present in rawhide using a Firefox 3.0 version, please
re-open this bug.

Based on the date this bug was created, it appears to have been reported
during the development of Fedora 8. In order to refocus our efforts as
a project we are changing the version of this bug to '8'.

If this bug still exists in rawhide, please change the version back to
rawhide.
