Description Elton Woo 2001-02-16 19:34:29 UTC
I thought the USB problem was only with mice, but I find that Fisher
doesn't detect my Epson Perfection 610 USB scanner (Model G750A)
during install, or "post-install". (SANE *is* installed). Following
directions that I used previously, I *am* able to use the scanner
by manual modification of some system files, including copying or
linking xscanimage into the `/gimp~ /plugins directory

The installer does not configure such hardware.

In addition, hotplugging was broken in the beta - it should now insert the
proper module, but it will not configure your scanner.
