Pirut doesn't work anymore, when I try to start it up, it gives a bug report.

Fixed in CVS, will be fixed in the pirut push within the next week or so.  Note
that you can work-around it by ensuring that your network is available.

How can I work around it then? Please put it simply - I am relatively new to

Just got notified: system doesn't receive updates either. When I try to view
updates, I'm getting the same bug as in launching Pirut. What to do???
