Electric Eyes, which seems to have replaced XView in Red Hat
6.0 for image viewing, crashes when one attempts to open
GIFs. That may simply be a limitation of the program as it
was written (or may be unique to my system, I have not
tested it elsewhere), rather than a bug. While Electric Eyes
looks better than xv, it has less functionality and the
apparent inability to open something as basic as GIFs is a
problem. Thanks.

I can't duplicate this one with any gif I have here.  If you have one,
mail it to dlt and reopen the bug.
