Description Alphonse Van Assche 2007-09-16 10:49:45 UTC
Description of problem:
glibc detect a double of corrupt. From what the web say glibc detect a miss
using the malloc function somewhere in the code.

It crash during the native build of 'org.eclipse.dstore.extra' jar, that may
occur because dstore does some specific class loading (from what upstream guy say).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gcc-java-4.1.2-12
glibc-2.6-4

How reproducible:
Just build this package
http://alcapcom.fedorapeople.org/SRPMS/eclipse-rse-2.0.1-5.fc7.src.rpm

Actual results:
*** glibc detected *** /usr/libexec/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/4.1.2/jc1: double free
or corruption (!prev): 0x09386018 ***

Take a look on the attachment to see the full backtrace.

Expected results:
GCJ just don't crash.

If you need some other informations just don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers,
Alphonse

Just retested and this works in i386 Rawhide against glibc-2.7.90-9 and
gcc-java-4.3.0-5.
