Description Rogelio Noriega 2001-03-05 21:19:48 UTC
"netconfig" failed to configure dhcp. "ifup eth0" works. We have verified
that this has happen on three different systems.

Comment 1 Bill Nottingham 2001-03-05 22:19:25 UTC
This is fixed in pump-0.8.11-1.

Comment 2 Rogelio Noriega 2001-03-06 18:19:03 UTC
The version of "netconfig" in RC2 is pump-0.8.11-1 and that is what is failing.

Comment 3 Rogelio Noriega 2001-03-06 18:22:28 UTC
I must have selected beta2 when reporting the bug oops, this is happening in
RC2 with pump-0.8.11-1.

Comment 4 Bill Nottingham 2001-03-06 21:03:58 UTC
netconfig no longer brings the interface up when run; this is intentional
(bringing it up before was a bad idea, and was, in general, broken.)
