XF86Config-4 file that works with 1400x1050 resolution none

Description Yu-Pa Ng 2001-03-09 21:16:39 UTC
OS: RH7.1 RC2
Hardware: Dell Inspiron 8000 SXGA+ (ATI M4 chipset)
XFree86 version: 4.0.2-11.4.0

1. I ran Xconfigurator on Dell Inspiron 8000 SXGA+ and chose 1400x1050
resolution. It brings up a test screen with 1024x768 resolution, and
burns the screen.

2. The attached XF86Config-4 file seems working fine for me. DRI is
enabled on both 16 and 24 bit depth. However, Quake III will die after
choosing "play" if depth = 24.

Wow, the CardMonitorsCombo stuff was pretty broken.

Fixed in 4.9.19-1.
