I just enabled desktop effects on a F8-test2 live cd and then run glxinfo, it still says direct-rendering: Yes. glxinfo also says direct-rendering: Yes for both the nvidia and fglrx drivers (both have been confirmed by actual users). So I'm closing this, please only reopen if you can give a real world, tested, reproducible example where this does not work. |
