Description of problem:
First attempt after installation to apply bulk updates using pup/pirut/yum
crashes the script

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
F8test3-i386-DVD.iso 

How reproducible: I repeated once and got identical crash

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clean install f8test3 from DVD.iso (vmware)
2. Click puplet balloon to install 97 updates, then click Apply

Actual results: 
Process immediately fails with debug dialog and instructions to file bugzilla
against pirut. The debug file contents are attached.

Expected results:
Same as if "yum -y update" were run from root console and everything install
correctly; which is what I did next - and it worked perfectly
