I copied the contents of an iso image to disk and noted the size of hdlist 
being 9,949,208 bytes.  I then ran genhdlist without making any changes to 
any files.  hdlist shrunk in size to 5,607,492 bytes.  Why is this 
happening?

The headerlist on the first ISO is for both discs 1 and 2.
