Description of problem:
After resuming from hibernation, if I run 'tcpdump' on my eth1 network
interface, traffic completely stops when I control-C tcpdump.  It seems to
correspond with when tcpdump disables promiscuous mode.

kernel-2.6.22.9-91.fc7

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot normally.
2.Hibernate
3.Resume
4.Run tcpdump -ieth1
5.Press control-C
  
Actual results:
No more network traffic on that interface.

can however I am currently unable to replicate this issue.

There hasn't been much activity on this bug for a while. Could you tell me if
you are still having problems with the latest kernel?

I no longer have that hardware.
