Description Cole Robinson 2007-10-22 15:34:09 UTC
cset 15120 from xen-3.1-testing.hg changes to width of the domid field in xm
list from 3 to 5 digits. Could potentially break scripts, but my guess is the
risk is low, so it is recommended for inclusion in RHEL 5.2.

Comment 1 Daniel Berrangé 2007-10-22 15:40:17 UTC
IMHO this is not worth doing.

There is no functional bug here - this is just a cosmetic change. Given that our
python userspace is based on 3.0.3, there is nothing to be gained from trying to
get closely to 3.1.1 userspace, since we fundamentally can never sync with 3.1.1
in life of RHEL-5. This BZ will merely increases the number of patches we have
to carry, with no functional problem being fixed. IMHO this should be WONTFIX.

Comment 2 Cole Robinson 2007-10-22 15:51:47 UTC
Agreed. I thought the change trimmed the domid, rather than just mess up output
formatting. Closing WONTFIX.
