gimprc.5 documents "firefox %s" as the default value for web-browser; should be
either "htmlview %s" or "xdg-open %s" instead depending on which of the patches
gets applied.

Building gimp-2.4.0-4.fc9 with the fix right now.

gimp-2.4.1-1.fc8 has been pushed to the Fedora 8 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
