Description Jon Fautley 2007-10-29 10:16:28 UTC
Description of problem:

/usr/share/doc/thinkfinger-*/README.Fedora is incorrect.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

0.3-6.fc8

Additional info:

The contents of this file do not reflect the package configuration.

There are a number of inaccuracies, for example, regarding the location of the
user BIR files.

Rather than attempting to patch and edit for style and tone, I have re-written
the README.Fedora file, using the original file as a template.

Any user wishing to follow the existing README.Fedora file for setup and
configuration will hit a dead-end and ThinkFinger will not function - I have set
sev/prio of this BZ accordingly.

Grr. It's not an application/octet-stream, it's a text file!

Comment 3 Julian Sikorski 2007-10-29 16:23:40 UTC
Thanks for reporting. I replaced the file, thinkfinger 0.3-7 has the correct
one. Since this fix is not worth breaking the freeze, the build will be pushed
to F-7 and F-8 branches after Werewolf is out. The build is here:
