When using the Autotools plugin autoconf editor, hitting ctrl-space does not
result in showing AM macros in the list of macros to use.  It also does not
respond to changing the Preferences.

Fixed in next release.  A patch has been made to add Autotools Property page
which allows setting the macro levels per project.  As part of that change, the
macro list used for completion has been fixed.
