While installing the new 1.0.1-2 tetex packages I got the
following:

[root(2)@ironclad RPMs]# rpm -Uhv tetex*-1.0.1-2.i386.rpm
....
package README not found in file index

After installing more of the new packages, I am getting that more and
more often, and it seems to be on the uninstallation of the old
package, not the installation of the new one, so I am assuming that
this is a new requirement that the new version of RPM is forcing,
hence the new RPMs. Nevermind :)

rpm --rebuilddb should take care of this?

I've seen this problem and believe that it is caused by not having
done "rpm --rebuilddb" when upgrading rpm. Please reopen this bug
if that is not the case.
