Description Sean Dilda 2007-10-31 15:12:38 UTC
Description of problem:

The ejabberd package Requires erlang which is not provided by EPEL or upstream.

After installing epel-release on a CentOS 5 box and running 'yum install
ejabberd' I get this:

Error: Missing Dependency: erlang is needed by package ejabberd

Comment 1 Jeffrey C. Ollie 2007-10-31 15:30:41 UTC
ejabberd is in the EPEL repository, but erlang is in the EPEL-testing
repository, not sure how that happened. I've posted a message to the EPEL
development list to try and figure out a solution.

# yum --enablerepo=epel-testing list ejab\* erlang\*
