This error is not confined to just the nv driver. I found the same symptom on a Celeron 677/i815/Matrox G200, but only if acceleration is turned off with 'Option "NoAccel" "1"' in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. What happens if you use: "Xconfigurator --preferxf3" in Seawolf? Closing bug due to lack of information and feedback. Suggestion: Use NoAccel and if that fixes it, remove NoAccel and try playing with all of the XAANo______ options documented on the XF86Config manpage to locate the specific acceleration functions that are failing. |
