Booting from SRM with generic boot disk.
screen says:

Unfortunately we do not have an AS1000A in the lab to test this out
on, but I am cc'ing the kernel developer here on staff with this
issue.  We have SRM machines in the lab which boot with no problems,
so not sure what else I can give you at this point which would be
specific to the AS1000A
