can we modify ... erm .. something, so that you don't have to specify the
username or the password?

at the moment in gdm i have to click on me and then swipe my finger.  i'd like
to just swipe my finger.

presumably, pam_thinkfinger would have to try the swipe against all the stored
prints.  i guess that has impacts on security and performance.  maybe it could
be configured to only test it against the <ten> most recently used fingers?

also, this requires individual modifications to each place where
username/password can be requested.  but just gdm would be a great place to start.

as much as i hate to mention Vista ... Vista does this.  ;-)

This is supposed to be worked on upstream eventually, but it requires reverse
engineering of the windows driver. Once upstream makes this work, I can assure I
will bring this to Fedora ASAP.
