Description Gerald Teschl 2001-04-27 19:47:56 UTC
If I remove the cdrom/floppy icon from the desktop they will reappear the
next time
I log in. If I don't want them, why shouln'dt I be able to remove them. If
I wanted an
OS which tells me what to do, I would use M$ Windos.

Open kcontrol.
Go to Look and Feel, go to Desktop, unselect the "Enable Dynamic Desktop
Devices" checkbox.
