Description of problem:
There are fc7 packages present in fc8.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible: Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install FC8 fresh
2. Open a terminal
3. rpm -qa | grep fc7
  
Actual results:
Varies depending what you chose to install.
For a comprehensive list you can also consult the output of yum:
yum available | grep fc7

Expected results:
There should be no .fc7 packages in the fc8 repositories. Right?

This isn't a bug.  Some packages didn't have a need to be rebuilt for F8 and
thus were just inherited from F7
