Xorg log
Still not working. Would really like to get this fixed. Is there any additional info I can provide? On a hunch, I looked at the permissions on /dev/dri/card0: crw------- 1 spot root 226, 0 2007-12-19 09:26 /dev/dri/card0 Just for fun, I ran chmod 777 /dev/dri/card0 and restarted X. Sure enough, DRI started right up. So, maybe this is a udev issue? Unfortunately, while opening the permissions on /dev/dri/card0 gets glxinfo to report that Direct Rendering: Yes, it doesn't actually work. Trying to enable desktop effects causes X to draw garbage on the screen, then crash. kernel-2.6.24-0.118.rc5.git6.fc9 gets glxinfo to report Direct Rendering: yes ... But it doesn't work. Same results as mentioned in Comment #5. :( Filed upstream: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13814 Tracking upstream. |
