Description of problem:

This is with a Thinkpad T43 in a docking station. The docking station has both
DVI and VGA outputs. I use the DVI output to connect to a
Samsung SyncMaster 204B LCD monitor.

Now when running "startx" the LCD monitor does not turn on, it tries a bit and
then gives up.

If I also plug in the VGA connector to the docking station, X starts fine, and
it uses the DVI output.

DVI worked fine with FC5 on the same hardware.

F8 is up to date, and it was installed from scratch.
