Description Jóhann B. Guðmundsson 2007-12-04 10:57:43 UTC
Description of problem:

Not a bug an RFE

It would be good to know which license key is assign to which system
System --> Overview --> System info --> License = "license Key"

When receiving Red Hat end of subscription alert IS

"The following license is about to expire or the following license
assigned to the following system is about to expire..."

This would help identify/keep track of which system/server is about to expire
and to be better to monitor which system/server has which license assign to them.

Another feature lacking is User history on the RHN website

As in the Organization Administrator should be able to see what which
users and when users logged and were from they logged ( IP )in and what they did
including his own history.

Even more advanced feature would be that the Organization Administrator
could restrict users to login from certain IP's or IP range.
( stricter security )

To better keep track of users.

( Have had an incident regarding this where I needed a user history )

As you may already be aware, Red Hat is transitioning from the Red Hat Network (RHN) hosted interface to the Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) interface in July 2017. Red Hat has invested in and seen success from RHN for many years, and used that experience to build more robust technologies like RHSM.

If you have not yet migrated your RHN systems to RHSM or you are a Red Hat Satellite customer, please review the information from. https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-subscription-management#migration.

Since we are shutting down RHN, no further actions will be taken with this bug or enhancement request. You can find additional information at RHSM product page (https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-subscription-management). If you have further questions, please contact support (https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-subscription-management#support).
