Is this in X or on the console ?

Comment 2 Bill Wichser 2001-05-18 15:26:35 UTC
Bug is only in a kconsole window and only occurs when settings->keyboard point
to the xterm (XFree 4.x.x). Solution is to simply choose a different keyboard
mapping.

Comment 3 Arjan van de Ven 2001-05-18 15:30:12 UTC
Sounds like a kterm bug, not a kernel bug

Comment 4 Nakai 2001-06-08 07:58:36 UTC
konsole (KDE console) is not kterm (Kanji xterm)

Reassign to kdebase owner.

Comment 5 Ngo Than 2002-10-17 12:48:42 UTC
It should be fixed in 3.0.4-2 or newer.

Additional info:
you have update to 8.0 before if you want to install something from rawhide.
