ecryptfs does not currently support direct IO (there is no .direct_IO a_op for
starters)

Hooking one up doesn't look too bad; I'll look into it.

Actually, I think we will live without direct IO for now.  Many filesystems do
not support direct IO, applications have to handle it.  If/when ecryptfs
upstream can do direct IO we can pick that up.
