What window manager are you using? Gnome - Sorry about that. I also just confirmed it on a fresh install of F8 on another machine. Smolt profile: http://www.smolts.org/show?UUID=bb7b5322-78b6-486e-ac98-94bac734f683 Also running Gnome metacity or compiz? (e.g. are you running the cube with the neat effects?) Just the default Metacity, no frills desktop. Created attachment 289771 [details]

Hardware information
This is for the notebook.
Thanks for the bug report. We have reviewed the information you have provided above, and there is some additional information we require that will be helpful in our diagnosis of this issue. Please attach your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link below. Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf whatsoever and let X11 autodetect your display and video card? Attach to this bug /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt as well, please. We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information. Thanks in advance. This bug is still apparent in 2.0.11 Reporter, does this happen with other application than firefox/thunderbird? So far I have not found any others. Terminals, Nautilus, Gedit, Gftp, Open Office are all "OK". Matej, can you reproduce in firefox 3? (In reply to comment #15) > Matej, can you reproduce in firefox 3? Actually, I cannot. I have experienced this with F8, but I cannot reproduce it now. |
