Description Mads Villadsen 2008-01-02 21:51:35 UTC
Description of problem:
Menus of Firefox and OppenOffice gets the wrong animations on open and close.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
[maxx@ice ~]$ rpm -qa|grep compiz
compiz-0.6.2-3.fc8
compiz-fusion-0.6.0-7.fc8
compiz-devel-0.6.2-3.fc8
compiz-gnome-0.6.2-3.fc8
compiz-fusion-gnome-0.6.0-7.fc8
compiz-fusion-extras-gnome-0.6.0-1.fc8
compiz-fusion-extras-0.6.0-1.fc8
gnome-compiz-manager-0.10.4-3.fc8

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable animations
2. Set animation for window open/close to something fancy (glide for example)
3. Watch how this animation gets applied to ordinary windows (as it should) but
it also gets applied when opening and closing menus in firefox and openoffice.

You have to enable the workarounds plugin which should fix such issues for you.

Comment 2 Mads Villadsen 2008-01-03 00:09:20 UTC
This works. Thanks. Shouldn't this plugin be enabled by default?
