Description Todd 2008-01-06 23:36:32 UTC
Dag Weers repo has a conflict with Audicous. Would you please consider
update the dependancies on audacious plugins to correct this?

# uname -r
2.6.18-53.1.4.el5

# rpm -qa \*audacious\*
audacious-plugins-nonfree-mp3-1.3.2-1.lvn6
audacious-1.3.2-2.el5.rf
audacious-plugins-1.3.5-2.fc6
audacious-libs-1.3.2-2.el5.rf

# yum upgrade
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Upgrade Process
Setting up repositories
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Excluding Packages in global exclude list

---> Package libmpcdec.i386 0:1.2.6-1.el5.rf set to be updated
--> Running transaction check

Error: Missing Dependency: libmpcdec.so.3 is needed by package audacious-plugins

Comment 1 Bastien Nocera 2008-01-07 09:51:33 UTC
Sorry but we ship neither of those packages. And you selected audiofile in the
components section, not "audacious" (probably as audacious isn't even in that list).

Comment 2 Todd 2008-01-07 20:43:25 UTC
Oh bummer. You are correct. I got the RPM's from FC6 and got
all my wires crossed.

On the dright side, I just found that Dag Weers is now supporting
Audacious, so he should have gotten his dependency fixed.

Sorry for the mix up.
