Description Chuck Ebbert 2008-01-29 21:51:14 UTC
Description of problem:
The install guide (section A.5.2) tells users to use the obsolete "ide=nodma"
kernel option to disable DMA for IDE disks. The new option is:

libata.dma=0 disable DMA for all IDE/SATA/ATAPI devices
libata.dma=1 enable DMA only for IDE/SATA disk drives
