Description of problem:
if you try to add a user to a group using groupmems it produces a segmentation 
fault.

man page for this shows System Management Commands 07/30/2006
# file /usr/sbin/groupmems
/usr/sbin/groupmems: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), 
dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.9, stripped


How reproducible:very


Steps to Reproduce:
1.make a group
2.attempt to add a user to it by groupmems -a user -g testgroup

  
Actual results:
/usr/sbin/groupmems -a customer -g test
Segmentation fault

Expected results:
Don't know I've never seen it work. I assume nothing is output.

Additional info:
This was recreated using an i586 or an i686 vmware fedora core 8

/usr/sbin/groupmems is not part of coreutils but of shadowutils. Reassigning to
correct component and owner.

shadow-utils-4.0.18.1-21.fc8 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 8
