backtrace for sunbird
That is not a useful stacktrace, unfortunately. Please run sunbird under gdb: gdb /usr/bin/sunbird > run ....do something to crash it > bt ...report the stacktrace Matthias, unfortunately, fedora does not have sunbird debuginfo packages. They do not package sunbird at all, afaik. Mozilla Sunbird project does not distribute debug builds, so I would have to build it myself. I have neither the time nor interest to do this, but I will elaborate somewhat more on the situation that caused the crash. GTK crux theme enabled, sunbird displays its window frame, but immediately hangs. Needs to be killed. Enabled default gtk theme, sunbird opens fine. Sorry I can't provide debugging info, it should be easy to reproduce. This message is a reminder that Fedora 8 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 8. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '8'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 8's end of life.
