The reporting feature of Bugzilla requires an authentication cookie to generate
CSV reports.  This makes it difficult to use automated tools such as wget in
order to obtain reports and do trending analysis.

Below is the URL of a report that requires authentication in order to view:

Hi Jon,

you can put your login details as cgi parameters into the url when you do wget
this will authenticate you and you will be able to get the report so for the
above link you have posted, you can do this:

please replace mypassword in the cgi param Bugzilla_password above
"Bugzilla_password=mypassword" with your own password. I tried it with my login
details and it worked nicely and it downloaded for me a csv file called
report-2008-02-06.csv that has the report.

That's great Noura and will work fine for what we want. For security purposes we
can set up a dummy account so we're not using our login details or whatever.
