Welcome into the club! See the bug #326411 and Bug #242208 (for F7)! Try to use the kernel 2.6.22.9-91.fc7! Fedora 9 do not resolve the problem: when I plug in my SoundBlaster Audigy ZS 2 notebook PCMCIA card fedora 9 locks up. The mouse doesn't move, keyboard doesn't respond. When I unplug the card the system resumes functioning normally. If I have the card in while booting, the system hangs at Starting udev. If I use another kernel (debian) to boot fedora ,the system boot without problem, perhaps the problem is a different configuration (.config) for the kernel. This message is a reminder that Fedora 8 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 8. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '8'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 8's end of life.
