Description Einars Lielmanis 2008-02-20 23:40:07 UTC
Description of problem:

Crash when bringing up rt61pci wireless network interface.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

  kernel-2.6.25-0.40.rc1.git2.fc9

How reproducible:

  - boot, observe no wireless connectivity
  - iwconfig shows that there's unassociated wlan0
  - system-config-network - configure wlan0
  - service network restart

Actual results:

  hard crash, /var/log/messages attached

Expected results:

  network connectivity.

Additional info:

lspci: RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI [1814:0301]

No crash on boot, only after (settings change and) restart of network service.

Clean and updated F8 installation, the only thing from rawhide is kernel.

Can you reproduce this with current rawhide kernels?

Comment 3 John W. Linville 2008-05-13 18:37:58 UTC
Closed due to lack of response...please reopen if the problem remains with
current kernels -- thanks!
