Description of problem:
Upon booting Fedora 9 alpha from DVD on a Thinkpad T61, and choosing to start
the media test, the DVD-RW drive spins up, but the media test progress bar stays
at 0% for at least several minutes.

Fedora 9 alpha.

How reproducible:
Boot Fedora 9 alpha installer DVD, start media test.

Installer appears to work correctly if the media test is skipped.

This should be fixed in anaconda-11.4.0.54.
