Description Marcus Barrow 2008-03-18 19:05:09 UTC
Testing at QLogic has found issues on negotiation with other manufacturer's 8 Gb/S Fibre Channel
switches. Version 4.03.02 of the firmware for 4 and 8 Gb/S hba's fixes these issues.

Comment 1 Andrius Benokraitis 2008-03-18 19:12:54 UTC
Marcus, is the latest firmware ready to go?

Comment 2 Marcus Barrow 2008-03-20 05:01:58 UTC
The patch fixes a failure to negotiate connections with Brocade switches.
It is considered extremely important by IBM, HP and others as they will be shipping products
with these parts shortly...

Patch is posted...

Comment 4 Marcus Barrow 2008-03-20 05:08:02 UTC
The patch is posted, but it is awaiting approval by the rh kernel mailing list moderator.

I need to remember to post the firmware files for each model individually...
