assigning to kernel. using de4x5 driver appears to provide a functional network. Possilble release note: Use de4x5 driver for systems that have the onboard DECchip 21142/43 Ethernet Contoller (like XP1000 and DS10) > using de4x5 driver appears to provide a functional network.
This is not the case for me, I am afraid. Or at least not reliably.
Is this still the case with the latest errata kernel for 7.1 alpha? (that is, either with the tulip driver or de4x5 driver) Closing. Seems to be a non issue these days RH 7.2 Alpha |
