Description of problem:

StickySession variables passed to Tomcat5 via URL are differently cased than the
Cookie sent back; mod_proxy_balancer gets confused.

This bug is tracked upstream as
 
  https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=41897

although the proposed patch has not yet been accepted.

This has now been committed for trunk and backported to 2.2.x, here:

This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red
Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release.  Product Management has requested
further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential
inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed
products.  This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update
release.
