a simple testcase
I can reproduce the crash with this trivial kernel module. The proposed patch
fixes it. I've only tested i386 so far.
Tested successfully on x86_64 too. Updating PM score. Committed in 78.9.EL . RPMS are available at http://people.redhat.com/vgoyal/rhel4/ An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For more information on therefore solution and/or where to find the updated files, please follow the link below. You may reopen this bug report if the solution does not work for you. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2009-1024.html |
