Description of problem:
snd_hda_intel: no sound since update to 2.6.24

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
With an ASUS P5B Plus motherboard,
1. modprobe snd_hda_intel
or
1. modeprobe snd_hda_intel model=asus
  
Actual results:

kernel-2.6.25-0.172.rc7.git4.fc9.x86_64 is not affected by this bug

The overlapping resources fix went into kernel 2.6.24.4-70
