Description of problem:
There is a race condition in wxGTK that has been described using filezilla here:

What is the status of this bug (fixed in Rawhide but what about F-7 F-8 ?)

Packages are built in Koji, but Matt must update wxPython too. Both updates must
be pushed together to avoid broken deps.

Changing version to '9' as part of upcoming Fedora 9 GA.

Any news on pushing to any repo (at least F8-testing would be nice).
Seem to be build but not available for F-8

wxGTK-2.8.7-2.fc7, wxPython-2.8.7.1-4.fc7 has been pushed to the Fedora 7 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
 If you want to test the update, you can install it with
