Description David Timms 2008-04-12 04:50:58 UTC
Description of problem:
The update process that included the below caused the display of a dialog:
no title
- The NetworkManager applet could not find some
required resources. It cannot continue.
OK.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Apr 12 10:00:33 davidtnotebook yum: Updated:
1:NetworkManager-gnome-0.7.0-0.9.1.svn3549.fc9.i386

How reproducible:
Not sure

Steps to Reproduce:
1. update from an old version of NM while NMapplet is running

Actual results:
dialog indicating it had a problem.
The dialog seems to suggest that something won't be working, but the icon is
still changing in relation to network plug events, and providing the popups.

Expected results:
If the applet/service need to be restarted, that c/should be done by the rpm
transaction...

Info: There is still the network icon near the clock, so I don't know whether it
did restart successfully, or if it never died, or whether it refers to another
element of the system.
