Description of problem:
Sometimes when I boot, after logging into Gnome, the Alt key does not work.
Obviously this break most of the keyboard operation of Gnome.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
I'm guessing this is in X11 problem, hard to say for sure.

How reproducible:
I've just restarted 10 times, the Alt key did not work in 7 tests.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start computer, Fedora loads.
2. Log into Gnome.
3. Open two applications.
4. Press Alt+Tab to switch between application windows.
  
Actual results:
The Alt key is not recognised, the application window with focus acts as if only
the Tab key has been pressed.

Expected results:
Switch between application windows.

Additional info:
Logging out and logging back in does not fix this problem.
I've got a Fedora Core 5 partition on the same system which does not exhibit
this problem.

Thanks for the bug report.  We have reviewed the information you have provided
above, and there is some additional information we require that will be helpful
in our diagnosis of this issue.

Please attach your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and X server log
file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file
attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link below.

Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf whatsoever and
let X11 autodetect your display and video card? Attach to this bug
/var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt as well, please.

We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information.

I switched back to the "default" US layout and back to UK in Gnome and the
problem has gone away completely. I guess it was never an X problem then either.
