Description of problem:

i want a step by step procedure to install mencoder on fedora core 4 using 
yum ...i have tried installing rpm but showing dependency problems.....i have 
installed mplayer using yum from livna repository ..but mencoder is not 
present in the livna repository.

Fedora Core 4 is way beyond its End of Support. Moreover, we cannot help you
with software which is not included in any of Red Hat support distributions. Try
to search on the Internet for "fedora mplayer" and you will learn more.
